Welcome to Zoic

For 40 years, we have been working in the field of paleontology and Earth sciences.

Our team consists of paleontologists, artists, and experts in 3D modeling technologies, united by the passion for research, study, and the processing of fossils.

We start with raw material purchased directly from experienced diggers around the world. In our laboratory, we study and analyze fossil remains, then we classify them based on their morphological and anatomical characteristics. Years of study and experience have led to an in-depth knowledge of the evolutionary biology and taxonomy of many extinct species.

We specialize in the processing and reconstruction of large dinosaur skeletons, which we present to the public through educational and disclosure activities as well as direct sales to collectors and museums worldwide.- | LEARN MORE |

Over the years, we have achieved a high level of specialization that has allowed us to establish a close collaboration with the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage and Landscape of Friuli Venezia Giulia for the extraction and processing of dinosaurs found at the Villaggio del Pescatore in Duino Aurisina, near Trieste. | LEARN MORE|

One of our main objectives is to strengthen the relationship between public and private sectors. At our headquarters, we host students from various national and international universities. We support and guide them through internships, bachelor’s theses, and doctoral dissertations, providing our experience and materials while working closely with professors who are experts in the field.. | LEARN MORE|

The prestigious fossil specimens prepared in Trieste have received praise from major international institutions (see commissions) for both their scientific accuracy and the modern technical solutions adopted. Zoic may be the only company in the field to currently use stainless steel for assembling large dinosaur skeletons, whether original or replicas, offering clear aesthetic and durability advantages.

Our skills and experience allow us to create replicas that are not only visually striking but also scientifically accurate. We collaborate with museums, educational institutions, and private collectors to ensure that each model is based on the latest studies and scientific discoveries.

The creation of our replicas begins with thorough research and consultation with experts in the field. We also use cutting-edge techniques, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing, to ensure precision and detail.

Every model is handcrafted by our technicians, who pay special attention to details to ensure each piece is unique and of the highest quality.

We offer a wide range of products, from dinosaur fossil replicas and complete skeleton models to artistic representations of prehistoric scenes. Our clients include schools, museums, theme parks, and private collectors, who find in our products a way to make paleontology accessible and engaging.

Activities

Beyond Discovery

EXPLORATION & EXCAVATION

Our geologists and paleontologists search for fossils at global sites, applying advanced techniques to recover remains with respect and precision.

PREPARATION & RESTORATION

In our laboratory, we specialize in the care of fossils, from removing sediments to consolidating them, preserving them for research and future generations.

REPLICAS & 3D MODELS

We create faithful replicas and 3D models, making fossils accessible to museums, institutions, and enthusiasts, using durable materials and realistic details.

INNOVATION & OUTREACH

We leverage emerging technologies for immersive educational experiences, bringing the public closer to paleontology in innovative ways.

SCIENTIFIC COLLABORATIONS

We work closely with universities and institutions, enriching scientific research and promoting paleontological knowledge.
