ReCrR005 Tupuxuara sp.

This particular reptile takes its name from a ghost present in the mythology of the Tupi indians from Brazil. Lacking teeth but endowed with a long beak, Tupuxuara had a large bony crest in the posterior part of the skull, similar to the better known Pteranodon. Its role was probably to counterbalance the beak’s weight and steadying the skull, especially if we assume Tupuxuara glided on the water surface to fish. The Tupuxuara model can be supplied in flying or climbing pose.
